| Founder and leader of BEATLESTOCK, Larry Russell, launched Billy Joel’s solo career and performed at least 60 shows with the ‘Piano Man’ on tour, back in the early 70’s.
Larry Russell created BEATLESTOCK in 2005 to provide a sing-a-long for audiences who want to get ‘more involved’ in Beatle band performances.
BEATLESTOCK does not wear wigs, or uses make-up and costumes in their performances; instead, they mainly focus on the ‘sound and feel’ of THE BEATLES’ recordings to achieve their ‘close-to-the-record’ performances.
BEATLESTOCK also encourages its’ audiences to sing ‘full middle eight sections’ of popular Beatle songs--now you can show your stuff and sing with us!
Sid Bernstein (Famed Beatle promoter) has endorsed BEATLESTOCK from its’ birth and continues to frequent every performance. You’ll probably see Sid sitting in the front row, singing along here at BB KINGS…
BEATLESTOCK is proud to announce for this performance, the addition of Alan Le Boeuf: a Paul McCartney look and sound alike artist who has appeared in hundreds of ‘Beatlemania’ performances on Broadway, and on tour. Alan can also be heard singing background vocals on recordings by Randy Travis and many other Nashville recording artists.
Carlo Contamessa is a very well known ‘John Lennon’ look / sound alike artist, with thirty plus years of performance experience under his belt. Carlo also performs currently with his band, THE CAST OF BEATLEMANIA. Carlo is considered by many to be one of the best John Lennon artists there is--worldwide. He also plays guitar, bass and piano.
