The Daily News Golden Gloves, New York City's amateur boxing championship, is celebrating its 83rd anniversary in 2010. Opening night will feature 141 lb. and 123 lb. boxers. Notable celebrities will be in attendance such as Mark Breland, Jake LaMotta, Emilie Griffith, Brandon Jacobs, Teddy Atlas, Ron Darling, Bill Gallo and many more.
