Ivan Neville, began absorbing the musical attitude of his father, Aaron Neville and uncles Art, Charles and Cyril from birth. Ivan's music honors and extends the Neville Family musical heritage, adding a distinctive new "level of Nevilles" that radiates from his roots and experiences. Ivan first joined the Neville Brothers in his mid-teens, then moved on to become a pivotal member of KEITH RICHARDS & THE X-PENSIVE WINO’S , BONNIE RAITT’S BAND and THE SPIN DOCTORS. His extensive credits include recording and/or performing with THE ROLLING STONES ROBBIE ROBERTSON, ANGIE STONE, JACK CASSADY, GOVERNMENT MULE, and numerous musical luminaries. Ivan is currently performing with THE NEVILLE BROTHERS in a global tour in support of the album he Co-Produced entitled Walking In The Shadow of Life. IVAN has recently jammed with the likes of SOULIVE, WIDESPREAD PANIC, TREY ANASTASIO, GALACTIC, NORTH MISSISSIPPI ALLSTARS, GOVERNMENT MULE, KARL DENSON’S TINY UNIVERSE, BOB WEIR’S RAT DOG, FUNKY METERS, DAVE MATTHEWS and JON MAYER.

IAN NEVILLE is an emerging "Next Generation" guitar wizard who grew up “with both feet on stage” and has regularly performed with The Funky Meters and The Neville Brothers When combined with NICK DANIELS on bass, TONY HALL on guitar and sometimes doubling on bass fused with RAYMOND WEBER, DUMPSTAPHUNK is being heralded as the one of the best hypnotic rhythm sections to come out of New Orleans in many decades.

IVAN NEVILLE’S DUMPSTAPHUNK played at Jazz Fest 2005 on the main stage and have earned a legendary reputation for their live performances at multiple New Orleans venues (Tipitinas, Howlin’ Wolf, etc.) Recently DUMPSTAPHUNK was nominated and won the BIG EASY AWARDS as NEW ORLEAN’S “BEST FUNK GROUP” for the year – despite having played only 9 shows at the time due to the extensive Neville Brother’s international touring schedule. Ivan Neville performs on keyboards in the MARTIN SCORSESE produced music film/DVD release entitled Lightnin’ In A Bottle. Ivan was also recently included as house keyboardist in WILLIE NELSON’S USA Network TV Special entitled OUTLAWS & ANGELS.
