| PETER MURPHY was the vocalist in the archetypal goth band Bauhaus, recording 4 albums with them until their split in 1983. He then formed a short-lived band with ex-Japan bassist Mick Karn entitled Dali's Car . Shortly after, they too split up, and Peter started to record solo in 1986. In the early 90's, Murphy had a few modern rock hits — the Bowie-esque "Cuts You Up" and "The Sweetest Drop." He re-united with Bauhaus in the late 90s for a tour and released his sixth studio album Dust in 2002.
This tour is in support of his eighth solo album, Unshattered. The jaunt kicks off just days after a Bauhaus reunion concert on April 30th at the Coachella music festival in California. Peter's band line-up includes: Justin Bennett on drums, Jeff Schartoff on bass, and Mark Gemini Thwaite on guitar.
