The Real Catwoman

Eartha Kitt’s voice is truly a unique gift, combined with a sensuous stage presence, singing in several different languages and a purr so convincing she must be the real Catwoman. Like her feline character from the 1966 Batman television series, Eartha Kitt came to kick it from the get go, whipping the audience with her wit and a diverse hit list which spans several decades. Her recent appearance at BBKing’s club in New York City, included the popular titles “I Want To Be Evil,” and “Where is My Man,” which she performed back by just a trio, drums, upright bass and piano.

Ms. Kitt entertained to standing ovations for more than 90 minutes, singing, dancing and toying with the multi-cultural cross generation crowd. The Spring 2004 sold-out performance was presented by Jill Newman Productions.

This Kitten has had more than nine lives and looks and sounds amazing a t77. Her distinction is unmatched and she could seriously pit to shame some of today’s femme fatales.
