Memphis Bleek
Rapper Memphis Bleek was raised in Brooklyn, NY's Marcy Projects housing community, making his recorded debut in 1996 on Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt. A member of the Roc-A-Fella Records stable, Bleek made his solo debut in 1999 with Coming of Age. While his debut did warrant plenty of attention, he wasn't able to capitalize on the hype surrounding his debut, resulting in a questionable collection of songs -- powered primarily by its Swizz Beatz-produced lead single -- that didn't live up to the lofty expectations many had. In late 2000, his sophomore album, The Understanding, appeared alongside Bleek's high-profile appearance with Jay-Z in the "Hey Papi" single from the Nutty Professor II soundtrack and its Hype Williams-directed video (featuring a cameo appearance by Pamela Anderson). In addition to this eye-catching promotional ploy, the lead single from The Understanding, "Mind Right," soon followed. His third album M.A.D.E. appeared in 2003, followed by 534 in 2005.

The Brooklynite was born Justin Taylor on December 24, 1982, in Crown Heights but spent much of his youth just south of there in Bedford-Stuyvesant. He got his nickname and stage name from his parents, who had given him the middle name of Skyler and fused that with the title of a 1980 single by disco-funk group Skyy. Inspired to rap at the age of nine when he first heard "Age Ain't Nuthin' But a #" by Native Tongue youngster Chi-Ali, he also grew up admiring local-turned-global legends the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. While still a rookie in the game, he managed to work with the likes of esteemed producers Jay Dee and 9th Wonder and hit the streets with many mixtapes in hopes of acquiring a major-label deal.

After completing his contract with Duck Down in 2013, Skyzoo established his First Generation Rich, Inc. imprint. He collaborated with producer AntMan Wonder on An Ode to Reasonable Doubt, dedicated to Jay-Z's 1996 debut album and released on the iconic rapper's birthday, December 4. Skyzoo also collaborated with Torae on the 2014 album Barrel Brothers, which featured production from DJ Premier, Illmind, Oh No, and others. Skyzoo's third solo album, Music for My Friends, arrived in 2015, including guest appearances from the Roots' Black Thought, Jadakiss, Bilal, and more. The following year, Skyzoo teamed up with Detroit-based producer Apollo Brown for the full-length The Easy Truth, released by Mello Music Group. A year later, the rapper issued the Peddler Themes EP.

Juxx released his first solo project, entitled "Indestructiblehttp://duckdown.com/website/ruste-juxx/indestructible," October 2008 on Duck Down Music Inc. Ruste Juxx blazed the hip hop scene with his single "Vic Flair," which received heavy support from New York's HOT 97, and the accompanying video became an underground favorite online. 'Indestructible' is Executive-Produced by Sean Price and is spearheaded by the lead tracks "Wipe Off Ya Smile," and "Get Up." The production on the album is from PF Cuttin, Dan the Man, and Black Milk. After years of grinding, In 2010 Ruste Juxx teamed up with producer and labelmate Marco Polo to release 'The eXXecutionhttp://duckdown.com/website/marco-polo/marco-polo-ruste-juxx-exxecution.' Marco Polo handles the entire production on the album and it also features guest appearances DJ Revolution, Black Moon, Rock of Heltah Skeltah, Freddie Foxx and Smif N Wessun. Ruste Juxx is finally seeing his hard work and dedication to what he loves paying off. With this project he proves that success is the only option. The album title means he's too strong to be destroyed!!

Smoke & Mirrors: DMT (Definitive MetaGod Trilogy) is a collection of some of Cambatta's best songs from his critically acclaimed Smoke & Mirrors series, plus 5 brand new songs. DMT is a culmination of years of devotion, experimentation and soul searching through Hip Hop and psychedelic drug use.

Beginning with The Porch in 2013, Cambatta reinvented himself and entered the scene with a style of lyricism comparable to greats like Andre 3000 and Jay Z. Following up with his EP The Womb and The Crackbaby in 2015, He pushed his flow and pen game even further displaying a talent for deep story telling ("Escape From The Womb"), explosive metaphors ("Ghost In The Machine") and conscious spirituality (Blessing From God) while still maintaining the swagger and grittiness expected of an East Coast rapper raised in the streets of New Haven, Connecticut.

Asked about his writing process by veteran Hip Hop journalist Rob Markman, Cambatta says, "I got really good at becoming one with death. I'm able to push myself to the brink and come back, filling up my word bank with as many words to explain the things people can't explain. Everything we do as people is all communication, it just so happens that I'm born in a time where the most popular form of communication is rap music." With the comedic, smoked-out single "Too Loud" the unbelievable title track "DMT" and the collection of classics, Cambatta once again raises the bar, explains the inexplicable, and takes old and new fans for a potent, lyrical ride.
