NBC-TV called Greg Kihn "Rock's True Renaissance Man." From FM rock favorites in the early part of his career, like "Secret Meetings", "Madison Avenue Man" and his cover of "Bruce Springsteen's "For You", to Mainstream Rock and Billboard Top 40 smashes "Sheila", "Girl Most Likely", "The Breakup Song", "Testify", "Happy Man" "Jeopardy" "Reunited", and "Lucky", the songs of Greg Kihn were staples in the North American radio diet. Now the man whose career stretches from the dawn of punk and indie rock to the glory days of MTV and concerts with the Rolling Stones comes full circle with new acoustic show "Greg Kihn's 80's: Jagger, Jeopardy and Break Up Songs and Stories". He brings to the stage all of his classic songs as well as a taste of 2017's new album "ReKihndled". Kihn -joined on stage by "ReKihndled" producer and band mate Robert Berry- delivers a show infused with the same spirit and energy of his classic recordings..

In the days when albums were an art form that stood on their own, as well as sources for hit singles, Greg Kihn became an early example of an indie storming the gates-and the album charts. Eight straight Greg Kihn albums crashed onto the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, containing nearly 70 songs written or co-written by Greg. From 1978-1985, each year brought a new Greg Kihn album, and with it another chart success: "Next of Kihn", "With the Naked Eye", "Glass House Rock", "Rockihnroll", "Kihntinued", "Kihnspiracy", Kihntagious," and "Citizen Kihn".

Greg also hosted and performed at the annual KIHNCERT at the Shoreline Amphitheater. Boston, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benetar and The Steve Miller Band are among the many artists Greg presented, He also expanded into charity work: his efforts include work for "Operation Care and Comfort", a military support group responsible for sending care packages to hundreds of military units deployed in harm's wayaround the world. He was nominated for the 2010 "Man of the Year Award" by the Lymphoma Society and does work for Children's Hospital in Oakland, California, in the never ending fight against cancer.

Greg was inducted into the San Jose Rock Hall Of Fame in 2008 and the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame in 2012. Greg recently regained the rights to all his old recordings and is currently re-releasing his entire catalogue with the original artwork. The New Yorker recently described Greg's music as having "a high degree of intelligence and subtlety." The recent review of the Greg Kihn Band's Greatest Hits by Apple iTunes called the group "a rock band of genuine consequence."
