Alexis P. Suter
Alexis P. Suter is gifted with the big, booming voice you can hear roaring out of Brooklyn into the heart of North America and beyond. Accolades are on the rise as Alexis and her band continue to captivate audiences from town to town. Alexis and her gifted ensemble artfully blend the lines between Blues, Soul, Roots and Rock music. Alexis' voice ranges from a pained passion to explosive and soul bearing blues. She can have a crowd on their feet dancing in one song an wiping tears in the next as she leads them on a musical journey as only she can.

At the prestigious Blues Music Award, Presented by The Blues Foundation in Memphis TN, Alexis was nominated for Best Contemporary Female Artist in 2017, The Koko Taylor Vocalist in 2015 and for Best Soul/Blues Female Vocalist in 2013. Her television appearances include Legends, IMUS in the Morning and The Artie Lange Show. Her song "Ride, Ride" was featured in the commercial for howstuffworks.com. Alexis has been featured on countless on- air LIVE radio performances and interviews across the USA. "All Over Again" from their release "Two Sides" was named NPR's "Song of the Day". Her song "In The City" was included on the Second Volume of the Songs After Sandy compilation series (songsaftersandy.com) which also included Sir Paul McCartney and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics).

Alexis has nine full length releases to date; Hat Trick (release date 12/5/17 Hipbone Records), Live at Briggs Farm, 2017 ( Briggs Farm Records), All For Loving You, 2017 (American Showplace Music), Love The Way You Roll, 2015 (American Showplace Music), Two Sides, 2011 (Hipbone Records), Live at the Turning Point, 2010 (Festivalink), Just Another Fool, 2009 (Hipbone Records), Live at the Midnight Ramble, 2008 (Levon Helm Studios) and Shuga Fix, 2005 (Hipbone Records). The recordings have received much praise from radio and publications alike including Blues Music Magazine, Blues Revue, Living Blues, Downbeat, Elmore, Blues Blast, Blues Matters, Blues 411 and Big City Rhythm and Blues. Recently Alexis has formed "Alexis' Ministers of Sound" ( AMOS), an ensemble which includes Vicki Bell, Ray Grappone, Dave Keyes, Chris Bergson and various special guest musicians. They have recently released their first album, AMOS, Live from Briggs Farm. The powerful debut is a collection of original and classic songs interpreted in Roots, Gospel and Soulful styles.

Vanessa Collier
Master musician and multi-talented blues performer, Vanessa Collier, was recently nominated for a 2017 Blues Music Award (BMA). The Philadelphia based vocalist/saxophonist/songwriter is currently on an 11 country European tour with Ruf's Blues Caravan, alternating between tour legs in Europe and touring back in the U.S. with a talented 5-piece band, throughout 2017. With searing saxophone solos, soulful vocals, and witty lyrics, Vanessa's songwriting takes you through an engaging blend of blues, funk, rock, and soul in an exceptionally entertaining, high-energy performance.

A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Vanessa's alluring vocals and stinging saxophone work saw her light up stages as part of Joe Louis Walker's band (2012-2013), while her 2014 debut album Heart Soul & Saxophone was declared "magnificent" on Dan Aykroyd's blues radio show, winning her accolades as a Best of 2014 Blues Breaker.

With the success of her debut album and her charismatic live performances, Vanessa has been in demand touring throughout the world and is excited to celebrate the March 2017 release of her highly anticipated sophomore album Meeting My Shadow.

Vanessa also maintains a private saxophone studio teaching around 30 students per week. She volunteers her time in schools in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland; serves as an adjudicating judge at solo & ensemble festivals; and offers jazz, blues, and saxophone clinics throughout the United States.

Slam Allen
The internationally renowned Slam Allen is a messenger of love. This dynamic entertainer uses the genres of Blues, Soul, R&B, and a touch of Rock and Roll to deliver powerful soul stirring performances! Slam captures you with a voice that echoes Otis Redding, a guitar that immerses you in B. B. King and stage energy reminiscent of James Brown, all while captivating you with his own original music!

Growing up, Slam played drums for the family soul band "The Allen Brothers" and later on, learned guitar from his Dad, Harrison Allen and his Uncle, Cecil Allen. As he progressed in their eyes, the family knew they had a special talent to nurture! Today, with 6 cd's to his credit, Slam Allen crisscrosses the globe playing festivals from Argentina to New York, from Italy to Florida, from Switzerland to Chicago, and beyond.

This gifted musician and entertainer was the lead singer, lead guitarist and band leader for the legendary Grammy-nominated James Cotton. "Playing with Cotton was such a great experience for me! There are things I learned from him that you can't learn from any school. It was a great honor!" says Slam.

Today, Slam Allen continues a national and international mission to fill his audiences with joy, happiness, and love. "If I can entertain the people, make them happy and inspire them to stay positive about life, I have done my job!" This is Slam Allen's message of love to the world!

Tas Cru
Raucous, rowdy, gentle, sweet, eccentric, quirky, and outright irreverent are all words that fittingly describe Tas Cru's songs and testify to his reputation as a one of the most unique of bluesmen plying his trade today. It's not for nothing that Cru has received wide praise for his songwriting. As Downbeat magazine notes, "His songs are blues poetry - crafted with rare verbal flair and his ability to cast a memorable hook is magical!" Bruce Iglauer, founder and president of Alligator Records calls Cru "a rare, real writer." Live, these songs are performed with power and passion as observed by Living Blues magazine, "The vivacity and sheer joy with which Cru plays is intoxicating!"

Based out of upstate New York. Cru performs in a variety of formats ranging from solo acoustic to a 7 piece-backing band. Tas Cru appears at a number of festivals and major blues venues throughout the US and Canada. His music is heard regularly on blues radio worldwide, including Sirius/XM's BB King's Bluesville,where he was recently featured as one of four artists selected for its Fall 2016 Concert series. As well, Cru brings his award-winning Blues Education programs and workshops to numerous schools, hospitals and community centers. Tas Cru is a Delaney Guitars (Austin , TX) endorsed artist.

Honors and recognition include Cru being awarded the 2014 Blues Foundation's Keeping the Blues Alive Award (KBA) for Blues Education and in 2009 named by Blues Festival Guide Magazine as its 2009 Blues Artist on the Rise. In January 2015, the Rum Boogie Café awarded Cru a guitar to autograph and hangs among the gallery of artist signed guitars. His latest album, Simmered & Stewed was named 2016 Best Blues Album by the Syracuse Area Music Awards (SAMMYS).

Javier Luis
JAVIER LUIS, born Javier Anibal Ruiz in Ponce, Puerto Rico, was named after the famous Mexican singer Javier Solis. Javier earned two degrees in Performing Arts - a B.A. in Music from Hunter College as well as one from the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater.

Raised on NYC's Upper West Side, Javier paved his music career singing, writing and arranging lead and backup vocals on numerous projects and recordings. Under his own record label, "Miramar Entertainment Inc.", Javier produced and executively produced his 2008 debut album 'HIMNO A LA MUJER' (Anthem to Women), and his 2015 CD/DVD deluxe set 'POR AMOR' (For Love).

Javier's musical trajectory includes a membership at A.S.C.A.P. as a song writer and publisher, numerous music and video awards, appearances on the top TV networks such as Telemundo, Univision, and Puerto Rico's own premier Television Network, WAPA. Javier is the first performer to bring the genre of Salsa to the prestigious stage of the Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center. With performances at many of NYC's top venues & night club circuit such as The Apollo Theater, SOB's (Sounds of Brazil), West End Gate, Village Gate, Merkin Concert Hall, Carnegie Hall, etc., his music has been embraced by commercial radio stations such as La Mega, as well as radio stations in Mexico, Israel, Colombia and the Canary Islands.

Javier's ignited passion and work is ALL for the love and unconditional support of his fans, family, friends, his Manager/Producer Larry Abramsky, who always challenges him by taking him to the next level and always seeing the bigger picture, AND of course, for the woman who's always had his back from day one, his mother Carmen Martinez.

Miche Braden
MICHE BRADEN (Bessie) is a singer, actor, musician, songwriter, arranger, and musical director. She is a product of the rich musical heritage of her hometown, Detroit, Michigan & a protégé of many of their great musicians including Motown musicians Thomas "Beans" Bowles, Earl Van Dyke (leader of The Funk Brothers), and jazz masters Harold McKinney & Marcus Belgrave.

Miche has just returned from a very successful 6 week run of her show "The Devil's Music: The Life & Blues of Bessie Smith" at the Mosaic Theater in Washington DC. She plays Bessie & is co-collaborator with Joe Brancato & Angelo Parra (Director & Playwright) as Musical Director, Arranger, & Composer. She & TDM have been nominated for the Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Carbonell, Off Broadway Alliance, Audelco & Connecticut Critics Awards. This year, TDM did their West Coast Premiere at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, CA garnering much critical acclaim including the LA Times Critics Choice.

As a singer, Miche has shared the stage with Regina Carter, Alexis P. Suter, James Carter, Richie Coles, Milt Hinton, Lionel Hampton, Frenchie Davis & Byron Stripling. She is featured in Pops Conductor/Arranger Jeff Tyzik's "Return to the Cotton Club" production with Byron & Ted Louis Levy.

She is featured on the title cut of Regina Carter's newest release "Accentuate The Positive" & the James Carter CDs "Gardenia's For Lady Day" and "At The Crossroads". She's also a YouTube sensation with 9.5+ Million views of PostModern Jukebox's "Sweet Child o' Mine" & the singing voice on Tainted Love in the Bio Shock Infinite game.

Beareather Reddy
Beareather Reddy, vocalist/actress/producer, is a native of Sylvania, Georgia, received a B.A. in performance arts from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has performed in numerous plays throughout the New York metropolitan area, as well as music performances in night clubs as The Duplex, Terra Blues, The Jalopy, BB Kings and the Brooklyn Historical Society. She has written three one woman shows, including "The Classic Blueswoman: An Historical Tribute". Ms. Reddy has performed in music festivals nationally and internationally, such as the Big Eyed Blues Festival, the Jazzy Jazz Festival, Briggs Farm Blues Festival, the Port Townsend Acoustic Blues Festival, the Pennsylvania Blues Festival and the Blues to Bop Festival in Lugano, Switzerland and Morcote, Switzerland. Ms. Reddy is dedicated to keeping Blues alive by offering free lessons to community youths. She is the producer of the annual Big Eyed Blues Festival held in Brooklyn, NY. October 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of this self-produced festival.

Kareem Walkes
International Saxophonist Kareem Walkes, is quickly becoming one of contemporary jazz's most thrilling and emotive performers, and continues to stand out and push boundaries as a composer, performer, and recording artist. He's becoming the go-to sax-man for artists like Cyril Neville, Li'nard's Many Moods, and Blues Hall Of Famer Slam Allen. Kareem's playing, though inspired by Maceo Parker and Candy Dulfer, among others, displays his own fresh ideas and distinctive tone. Born and raised in Queens New York, home to many Jazz legends like Louis Armstrong, Count Basie to name a few, Kareem has been breathing powerful, soulful, raw energy into his saxophone since the age of 18. Kareem's musical journey began as a star tenor saxophonist with his high school band and then quickly sky-rocketed. Soon thereafter, Kareem shared a televised musical stage with a tremendous gathering of jazz legends, including Harold Ousley, Sonny Rollins, Benny Waters, Lionel Hampton, and G. Earl Grice to name a few on the cable program "Harold Ousley & His Circle of Friends".

Kareem's mastery of the soprano saxophone earned him the laudable nickname "the Black Kenny G" and as a smooth jazz soprano saxophonist, Kareem has recorded 2 albums entitled "Passion" and "Sax and the City." Kareem's 3rd album "Grown & Saxy" a "Pop" jazz album, is slated for a Fall release.

Currently Kareem is performing with his band promoting his upcoming release "Grown & Saxy". Kareem still finds time to explore his love of musical theater having spent several seasons as the Theater for the New City's Assistant Musical Director and resident saxophonist and 2nd keyboardist. Beyond performing, Kareem is currently producing and writing his 4th album, "His Name Is Kareem". Kareem also wrote and produced for Artist Rhoda. Both of her Albums were nominated for several music awards including IMA's (Independent Music Award) for R&B Album of the Year, Best New R&B/Pop Artist and Best Female Pop Song.

A composer, producer, and a self-taught pianist, Kareem's musicality stems from a place of raw passion and desire to create truly unique and superior music.

Jerry Dugger
Jerry was born in The Bronx and raised in Harlem. He caught the music bug early in life, listening to his parents Ida and Alfonza sing around the house, singing with them in church, and listening to their collection of 78rpm records.

He spent thirteen years studying The Blues there, watching and performing with Bill Dicey, The Holmes Brothers and eventually hosting the Saturday and Sunday afternoon jam sessions. This little bar became the hub of the Blues scene in NYC. Many legendary Blues musicians, Johnny Copeland, James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, just to name a few, stopped by to hang out and sing a song on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Dan lynch was also the launching pad for many up and coming Blues artists.

These days Jerry's work is focused in the Tri State area and Europe, He works regularly at The Red Lion and Lucilles Grille at B. B. Kings Blues Club Times Square. His Bands, The Dugger Brothers, The Harlem Blues Project, The Acoustic Blues Caravan and MoonShine String Band are great vehicles for his voice and eclectic musical tastes.

Eddie Jackson's Time Out
Comprised of the surviving members of The Michael Packer Blues Band, Ed Jackson, John Becton and Guy Powell (with new member Adam Valk) have performed with many notable musicians, from backing the late Honeyboy Edwards to serving as the house band for the NY Blues Hall of Fame ceremonies.

Tom Terry
Tom Terry became inspired by the soulful sounds of the late 60s/early 70s. "As far back as I can remember I felt connected to the lower end sounds coming from the speakers of my dad's record player and 8 track, from then on I was on a quest for the roots of American music". Tom played the Jersey Shore as a teen, and later went on to tour Europe, New England, the Midwest and the South with some of the best and brightest acts America has to offer. Tom has played and/or toured with Alexis P Suter, Michael Louis Band, Jason Ricci & New Blood, Jeff Pitchell's Texas Flood, MD for The John Brandoli Band and BluesHead. He has also supported numerous performers such as the Derek Trucks Band, Johnny Winter, Wilson Pickett, Koko Taylor and Savoy Brown. He also freelances as a multi instrumentalist playing one nighters with many top acts passing through the New England states. Tom also produced Bonnie Light and Mya Elaine's independent records. Tom plays Vintage Fender Bass Guitars, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitar, always putting the song first! Tom attended The University of Massachusetts and Holyoke Community College and holds a degree in music. He also gives lessons, teaching: guitar, bass, mandolin, Piano, music theory and Solfedge privately and at Whip City music in Westfield Mass.

Michael Louis
THE MICHAEL LOUIS BAND: We are a touring band out of Gravesend, Brooklyn, NY. We call our style 'Brooklyn Swamp Music': a murky mix of blues, soul, funk & r&r. Ain't no hipsters in Gravesend, just salt of the earth and great pizza! P.S. Michael is also working with Tom Terry (Bass) and Jason "Bam Bam" Arnold (Drums) from Springfield, MA. No hipsters in Springfield either, just cheap gas and fresh Guinness.

Frank Mirra
Big Frank Mirra is a traditional electric and acoustic blues musician known for his powerful vocals and bottleneck slide and finger-pick guitar style. He has been a fixture in the NYC Tri-State blues scene for decades leading the popular band Big Frank & The Healers. While listening to Rock n' Roll as a teenager, Frank's was immediately attracted to the blues elements evident in many of those tunes. His love of traditional blues and curiosity drove him to become a subject matter expert about its history. His playing style reflects his affinity for these traditional blues roots. Joining Frank is Mike Smith on harmonica, also from Big Frank & The Healers. When performing as a duo, their unique individual styles blend to provide a personal and soulful presentation of traditional acoustic blues.

Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir
The Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir (BIC) is an ensemble committed to bringing people together through artistic expression. Members are encouraged to appreciate and celebrate the diverse cultures which make our world great. Founder Frank A. Haye, conductor, choral director, flutist, composer, and producer, states "BIC is a group of performing ambassadors that will spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through song in the tri-state area, as well as throughout the United States and abroad." BIC records and ministers in different venues, including churches, temples, festivals, concert halls, convention centers, clubs, street fairs and private functions. All members of BIC receive world-class musical training and opportunities to fellowship with artists from diverse ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds. Our motto is simple: `One Great City, One Great Choir to the Glory of God."

In April 2014, BIC received second place honors in the International Verona Choral Competition, Italy. At the invitation of the US State Department, BIC journeyed to Cairo, Egypt in September 2014 to spread the gospel and the message of peace at the Samaa International Festival of Peace. The New York Philharmonic asked BIC to share the stage at their June 2015 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Concerts in the Parks Series in Prospect Park. For their Annual Tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in January 2016, the Brooklyn Academy of Music requested that BIC return to the stage as the featured artist in the program. Last October, in Times Square, BIC sang at the celebration of Needle2Square's completion of its mission--a five year walk with a goat across America to raise funds for an orphanage. Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams recognized BIC in his Clergy Appreciation Breakfast in May 2016. In May of 2017, BIC's five city tour in China included performances in a worship service, jazz festival, rock festival, hotel theater, and jazz club. BIC returned to BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Series at the Prospect Park Bandshell in August 2017. To God be the glory! Haye states, "We believe the power of music transcends our cultural, political, financial, and religious differences to expose that which we truly share: faith, hope, and love."

Vicki Bell
Vicki is co-founder of Hipbone Records and a member of The Alexis P. Suter Band. Vicki is responsible for much of the sound of Hipbone's vinyl releases. Perhaps best known as an engineer and producer, her most recent work with Alexis P. Suter and Open Door ("So Close To Beautiful"), speaks for itself. Her music has appeared in films (Stevie, Kingsize and Singularity) and television programs (Nip/Tuck, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and Bliss).

An artist in her own right, Vicki has sung countless background vocal tracks with a long list of artists. A scholarship student at Alvin Ailey, Vicki starred in and toured internationally with the Broadway smash, "A Chorus Line", and had the honor to perform for President Ronald Reagon at the White House. Vicki has also worked with artist's such as Coati Mundi, Shaggy, Amy Helm, Glenn Turner, Bennett, Jeannie Hopper and painter Matthew Cusick.

Through the success of her label and her production work, Vicki has been able to license her music on compilations worldwide. She continues to be much in demand as an engineer, studio musician, producer and writer.
