There isn't a more iconic name in the punk genre than Misfits. Hailed as an influence and covered by numerous successful and diverse artists ranging from Metallica to Guns N' Roses, the band has remained relevant throughout its illustrious 34-year career. Formed in April 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, and named after Marilyn Monroe's last movie, the band mixes the sound of punk rock with horror elements - a mix that has stood the test of time and become the group's legacy.
Although the Misfits lineup has shifted over the course of its existence, the group has consistently released incredible, genre-defining albums, including Walk Among Us (1982), American Psycho (1997), and Famous Monsters (1999). Now, the punk rock legends return for the 2011 Devil's Rain Tour, supporting the first album of new material in over 10 years with an all new stage production. This show promises to be the band's most elaborate ever, featuring new costumes and props as well as a fresh set list of music that mixes new, classic, and surprise songs encompassing the band's entire catalog.
