Papa J & M'o Soul Band pay tribute to the Kings of Soul -- Otis Redding & Al Green . Redding, who died in a plane crash in 1967, is best known for his hits "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay," which was the first posthumous No. 1 single in U.S. chart history, as well as "These Arms of Mine," "Respect" and "Try a Little Tenderness," Al Green The man who brought us classic songs like "Tired of Being Alone," "Love and Happiness" and "Let's Stay Together" deserves tribute status, and in this concert at B.B. King's, Al Green's remarkable catalog of hits will be performed and celebrated by Harlem-based band Papa J. and Mo' Soul. The group incorporates blues, soul and funk into their sounds, making it a perfect fit for Green's arsenal of hits, which spawned countless imitators (and babies) during the 1970s.
