The Matt Rae Band
If you are a fan of the telecaster, you won't want to miss this show. Matt Rae has played alongside Forrest Lee Jr, Arlen Roth, Redd Volkaert, Johnny Winter, Sonny Landreth, Levon Helm and Matt
The current issue of "Vintage Guitar Magazine" (March 2016) had this to say about Rae's latest album, Twanging The Dead
"Tele God Rae infuses 11 Grateful Dead cuts on his latest with his particular style of twang. The mix is great on some tunes ("Candy Man") and when more melodic playing is called for, Rae is up to the task. He and his band hit familiar tunes and a couple more obscure, but every cut shows off Rae's considerable guitar skills." ~ JH
Come enjoy some tunes off this album and some of his other instrumental treats. In the process you will discover why he is mentioned in the same breath as Brent Mason, Danny Gatton and John Hiland.
