Bio

Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is a multi-talented entertainer who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. At the age of 15, he achieved international fame as Herman, the lead singer of the legendary '60s pop band Herman's Hermits. His classic hits with the band included, "I'm Into Something Good," "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter," "I'm Henry VIII, I Am," "Silhouettes," "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," "Just A Little Bit Better," "Wonderful World," "There's a Kind of Hush," "A Must to Avoid," "Listen People," "The End of the World," and "Dandy." Ultimately, Herman's Hermits sold over 60 million recordings. In all, 14 singles and seven albums went Gold, and the Hermits were twice named Cashbox's Entertainer of the Year.

Since his chart-topping stint with the Hermits, Noone has continued to flourish as a musician and an actor. In addition to his starring roles in several feature films, he took on leading roles in full-scale theatrical productions of Dick Wittington, Aladdin, and Sinbad the Sailor. In the '80s, he starred on Broadway in the New York Shakespeare Festival's production of The Pirates of Penzance. He won rave reviews for his superb portrayal of the dashing young hero Frederic and eventually reprised the role at the world-famous Drury Lane Theatre in London. He also enjoyed guest star spots in primetime television series like Married with Children, My Two Dads, Easy Street, Too Close for Comfort, and more. The '90s found him embarking on a four-year stint as the winsome host of VH1's My Generation and starring in a recurring role as Paddington in As the World Turns.

Accompanied by his band Herman's Hermits, Noone currently performs over 200 concerts a year. He consistently plays to sold-out venues, and his admirers span generations. Today's teenage girls scream just as passionately as their mothers did back in 1965, prompting VH1 to select Noone as its Sexiest Artist of the Year in 2001. There is no doubt that Noone's extraordinary talent, disarming wit, handsome features, and compelling stage presence will continue to delight fans of all ages for a long, long time to come.
