On the album, there are a variety of instruments from strings to horns, plus featured artists such as Lil Wayne, Shaggy, a duet with his first daughter India and even a lullaby at the end the album dedicated to his baby girl Lucia Bella.

The Other One is an alternative approach to the 2012 album The One and will be a remixed version with Drum'n'Bass influences, ambient atmospherics and of course, the sublime vocals of Eric Benet.
