Marshall Crenshaw has built up an impressive body of work over the course of his career, exhibiting fine craftsmanship in everything he's approached while always following his own singular muse. Currently the Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated songwriter is engaged in what he calls an "unorthodox recording project" - a subscription series involving vinyl and downloads. He can also be heard every Saturday night at 10PM as host of The Bottomless Pit on WFUV.
New Jersey native Glen Burtnik has written songs recorded by John Waite, Randy Travis, Beth Hart, JoDee Messina, Patty Smyth, and Don Henley. In the late '70s he appeared on Broadway, portraying the role of Paul McCartney in Beatlemania alongside Marshall Crenshaw. He's also released solo albums on A&M Records and has written, played, and sung on numerous recordings as member of Styx, as well as appearing as a session singer and musician for a diverse group of artists, including Celine Dion, Meat Loaf, Jan Hammer, and Lita Ford.
Best known as Billy Joel's longtime drummer, Liberty DeVitto has also appeared as a session drummer on recordings for a variety of other artists. Born in Brooklyn, he grew up in Seaford, Long Island, and, after catching The Beatles on their infamous Ed Sullivan Show appearance in early 1964, he was inspired to play the drums.
